Geelong Bushwalking Club
Welcome to the Home Page of the Geelong Bushwalking Club, a lively and friendly group that will welcome you warmly, whether you are a beginner or an experienced walker. From a group of 6 people in 1973, the club has grown to over 200 of varying ages, interests and experience. We are a welcoming group of people who enjoy walking together in unspoiled nature.
We ask visitors to come on 3 walks before joining the club. All walkers must show proof of double COVID vaccination.
We walk in the Otways, the Brisbane Ranges, the You Yangs, along the Surf Coast and Great Ocean walk, Ballarat, Daylesford, and sometimes further afield, with overnight or base camp walks in different parts of the state or interstate.
Our walking days are Tuesday (easier walks), Thursday and Saturday or Sunday. See our Program page for details of upcoming walks.
In line with current Public Health Guidelines we still require proof of double COVID vaccination from all walkers.
A general club meeting will be held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday February 8th 2023 at the South Barwon Community Centre in Mt Pleasant Rd Belmont. See your newsletter for details.
