Geelong Bushwalking Club activities include bushwalking, cross-country skiing, cycling and canoeing. The standard of these activities range from family days to difficult overnight alpine trips. Members also have access to our library, a variety of outdoor equipment and are eligible for discounts at selected retail outlets.
*Note- rockclimbing, caving- canyoning are no longer on the program as Public Liability Insurance is currently not available for these activities.

We have a monthly newsletter and a half-yearly program which sets out our activities.
We encourage car-pooling to minimize and share costs of travel

You are welcome to attend Club meetings which are held on the second Wednesday of each month at
South Barwon Community Centre,
33 Mount Pleasant road, Belmont, commencing at 7.30 pm. The format is fairly informal. We have either a guest speaker or a member of our club who
may show slides of a trip or discuss something related to bushwalking, skiing, etc. At the end we have time for tea or coffee and a general chat.

The fees cover the cost of the Newsletter and our affiliation with the Federation of Victorian Walking Clubs (Bushwalking Victoria). Bushwalking Victoria
also arranges our Public Liability Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance while on club activities.
